Heart awareness

The British Heart Foundation advises that every six minutes someone dies of a heart attack in the UK.  

The term heart disease is used to describe a number of different heart conditions and problems such as:

There are lots of things you can do to help keep your heart healthy and you are never too young to start this healthy habit.

On the British Heart Foundation website, you will find prevention information to support you such as healthy eating suggestions, tips for parents, the BEAT code and tips to combat stress.

You can also find out information on life-saving skills and watch their training film which stars Vinnie Jones on their site.
